Advanced Surgery & Wellness, a thriving independent private practice, is seeking a fellowship-trained Breast Surgeon to join our team of two surgeons and serve as Medical Director of the Breast Center at Advocate Sherman Hospital. This is an outstanding opportunity for a surgeon who values autonomy, leadership, and a comprehensive approach to breast care in a supportive, physician-owned environment.
About the Practice
We are a fully independent group proudly operating without hospital employment or corporate oversight. Our surgeons currently serve as the primary breast surgeons at two local hospitals. Our breast service line encompasses benign and malignant disease as well as high-risk patients. We maintain excellent working relationships with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, gynecologists, radiologists, and other specialists throughout the region, enabling truly collaborative, patient-centered care.
At Advanced Surgery & Wellness, we go beyond surgery. We place a strong emphasis on wellness and the post-surgical journey, supporting patients through comprehensive recovery, lifestyle optimization, and long-term survivorship.
Position Highlights
Medical Director of the Breast Center at Advocate Sherman Hospital
Independent Private Practice – Full partnership track with significant autonomy in clinical decision-making
Mix of breast surgery with optional general surgery cases (if interested)
Fellowship-trained in Breast Surgery required
Busy, established breast practice with strong referral patterns
Work at two hospitals with excellent OR access and support staff

Board-eligible or board-certified in General Surgery
