We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioners to join our healthcare team for part time position. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive primary care services to individuals of all ages, from infants to the elderly. Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients
- Prescribe medications and administer treatments as needed
- Provide patient education on preventive care, disease management, and healthy lifestyle choices
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Skills:
- Proficient in ICD-10 coding for accurate diagnosis and billing purposes
- Strong knowledge of family planning methods and reproductive health practices
- Ability to phlebotomize patients for blood samples and laboratory testing
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy
- Excellent medical documentation skills to maintain accurate records
- Experience in providing care for patients of all ages, including toddler care
