Long-Term Psychiatry Assignment - Missouri

We have an ongoing locum tenens opportunity for an inpatient Psychiatrist in Missouri. This assignment offers a consistent schedule starting in early 2026 and provides excellent long-term potential.

Highlights:

Practice Setting:

• Inpatient facility
• Adult patient population
• Locum will supervise APPs
• Full hospital support staff

Schedule:

• Consistent 20-22 shifts per month
• Day shifts
• Only 1 weekend per month required

Procedures and Cases:

• Standard inpatient psychiatry cases
• Manage 18-20 PPD
• Ratio of follow-ups to new evaluations is 1:4

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Psychiatry
• Active BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience

Credentialing Requirements:

• Active Missouri license
• Open to IMLC Physicians
• Credentialing timeframe is 60-90 days
