Full-Time Optometrist Opportunity – FYidoctors Canoga Park, LA.

FYidoctors is seeking a full-time Optometrist to join our growing clinic, backfilling for a long-standing OD who will be retiring in April 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a busy, well-established practice with an existing patient base, strong team support, and the potential to grow into a future leadership role within the clinic.

Our clinic became part of the FYidoctors network in May 2022 and has continued to grow steadily. We currently have 2 Optometrists and 5 support staff, with dedicated roles across dispensing and front-of-house. The incoming OD will work Tuesday through Saturday, have their own exam lane (with access to multiple lanes when needed), and can expect to see 14–16 patients per day.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments
Diagnose and manage ocular conditions, including contact lenses and some low vision care
Provide prescriptions and treatment plans while collaborating effectively with staff
Maintain accurate patient records in our electronic health system
Deliver care to a varied patient base, including a strong Medicaid population
Qualifications

Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution
Active California Optometry License (Medicaid credentialing preferred)
1–2+ years of clinical experience
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
Spanish language skills helpful, but not required
Schedule & Compensation

Full-time, Tuesday through Saturday
14–16 patients per day
Competitive compensation starting at $500/day + production bonus
