Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead operations at our newly acquired compounding pharmacy in Baton Rouge. This is an exciting opportunity to join a patient-focused, innovative pharmacy team dedicated to providing high-quality compounded medications.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Ensure adherence to USP standards and best practices in sterile and non-sterile compounding
• Provide clinical and operational leadership to pharmacy staff
• Maintain accurate records, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with Louisiana Board of Pharmacy requirements
• Collaborate with ownership and management to drive operational excellence and patient care

Position Highlights:

Type: Full-Time, Leadership Role
Schedule: Monday – Friday (no nights, no weekends, no major holidays)

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
• Active Louisiana Pharmacist License in good standing (or eligibility to reciprocate)
• Minimum 3–5 years of pharmacy experience, with compounding background preferred
• Prior leadership or PIC experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
