Description

The Department of Ophthalmology of Massachusetts Eye and Ear and Massachusetts General Hospital is recruiting an optometrist to join our Optometry and Contact Lens Service.  The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and interests: 

•  Optometry-OD degree and a fellowship or accredited optometric residency in ocular disease or cornea and contact lens.
•  Experience working with all contact lens modalities including soft, corneal rigid gas permeable, scleral, and hybrid.
• Clinical experience with diagnosis such as high refractive error, keratoconus, aphakia, keratoprosthesis, post penetrating keratoplasty, post trauma, and ocular surface disease.
• Teaching in Harvard Medical School (HMS) programs-supervising and training fellows, residents, and students in optometry and contact lens activities
• Holds a current MA state optometry license or eligible to be licensed in MA

This is a full-time position. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
