Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:00 - 18:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience License: NYS Contrast Injection Certification Certifications: ARRT (N), CNMT, BLS Must-Have: Experience with radioactive material handling and disposal Experience starting and maintaining IVs Knowledge of isolation precautions and personal protective equipment Description: The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform various nuclear medicine procedures. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Experience with GE, Siemens, Philips, and Hitachi equipment is required. Required procedures include Nuclear Medicine HIDA Scans, Bone Scans, and Lung Studies. Experience with cancer surveys and thyroid studies is essential. Cardiology experience, including pharmacological stress testing, is preferred. Electronic documentation experience is beneficial. The unit accepts travelers with a community hospital or teaching hospital experience. On-call rotation will be required. Compliance with COVID-19 and flu vaccine requirements is mandatory. Medical and religious exemptions are allowed.
