Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This position involves maintaining the delivery of high-quality patient care by following established nursing care plans. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of work.
Job Details:
- Location: Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) prior to the first shift; minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience, including ICU experience; current registered nurse license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or similar care setting.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, initiates discharge planning from day one, provides patient and family education, ensures safety in accordance with hospital policies, participates in team building, and contributes to a positive work environment.
