Description
St. Francis-Emory Healthcare is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our elite Cardiothoracic Surgery team in Columbus, GA. This is a full-time, on-site role offering the opportunity to work alongside two highly skilled surgeons and a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.
- Assist in surgical procedures, including endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH).
- Radial artery harvesting experience is a plus but not required.
- Prescribe medications and manage perioperative care.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and recovery.
- Participate in call rotation and provide high-quality, compassionate care.
Qualifications:
- Active PA or APRN license and board certification.
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Nursing (APRN).
- Previous experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery preferred.
- Proficiency in endoscopic vein harvesting required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to teamwork and patient-centered care.
- Candidates completing a Cardiothoracic Postgraduate Fellowship will be considered.
Schedule:
- 1:3 call rotation
- 20 days PTO
- 5 days CME
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive base salary: $160,000–$200,000 (based on experience and skill set).

Requirements
Active PA or APRN license and board certification.
