Description
NYU Langone Medical Center and the NYU Perlmutter Cancer Center are seeking an academically-oriented psychiatrist for a part time C-L Psychiatry, Psycho-Oncology position at the expanding NYU Perlmutter Cancer Center (PCC).
This position reports directly to the Director of Ambulatory CL Psychiatry and to the Vice Chairman of Clinical Affairs, Department of Psychiatry and to the Medical Director of the Cancer Center, responsibilities include:
- Providing ambulatory direct patient care on-site and remotely
- Supervision of rotating NYU C-L Psychiatry Fellows
- Multiple Liaisons with all the subspecialty multidisciplinary oncology teams
- Supervision of NYU School of Medicine students
Candidates are expected to have significant clinical experience and subspecialty Board Certifications in C/L psychiatry and/or Psycho-Oncology. Salary is commensurate with experience and background and excellent benefits are offered. The current role is for 2 days a week at the PCC with the option to be combined with other available positions if a full-time position is desired.
