Company Overview

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is now proudly a part of Jefferson Health. We are coming together for the future of care. Our combined health system is now one of the top 15 not-for-profit health systems in the country, creating a network of care that will positively affect generations to come. Jefferson and LVHN will bring an even stronger commitment to the Lehigh Valley and northeastern Pennsylvania, growing programs and services in the region.

With the combined strength of our 65,000 dedicated colleagues, we will give patients access to the highest quality care through our network of 32 hospitals and more than 700 sites of care. Together, we give patients access to a broader network of nationally ranked specialists who will collaborate with each other to provide innovative technology and treatments closer to where people in our community live, work and play. Together, we will conduct groundbreaking research and clinical trials that result in better outcomes for our patients. Through Jefferson Health Plans, we will offer comprehensive and innovative health plans that give members access to high-quality health care that meets the diverse needs of the people we serve, especially those who are vulnerable and at risk for health conditions. With Thomas Jefferson University, we will educate the clinicians of tomorrow to deliver the highest quality of care to communities throughout our region.

About the Lehigh Valley area


The Lehigh Valley is one of the fastest-growing areas in the country, located in the heart of eastern Pennsylvania, 60 miles from Philadelphia and 80 miles from New York City.
