Opportunity Details

• Position Type: Full-Time (0.8 FTE)
• Location: Grand Rapids, MI
• Specialty: Radiation Oncology
• Clinic Hours: Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri (8-430)
• Call Requirements: N/A
• Additional details: Support departmental operations through management of a growing follow up clinic, inpatient consultations, urgent add on and referral visits outside standard physician scheduling, and patient inquiries related to imaging, post treatment symptoms, and care coordination.

Requirements

• Experience preferred, open to new graduates with previous clinical experience in oncology. (ie. Infusion RN, inpatient nurse on oncology floor, etc)
• APPs: Board certified in specialty prior to employment
• Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA license
• ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

• Providing direct patient care
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Participating in teaching and mentoring
• Documenting in Epic EMR
• Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
• Supporting community health efforts
