Description

Optometrist needed for permanent part-time (1-2 days per week including Saturdays) position potentially leading to full-time.  30+ year established private practice. 

 Position  Overview:   Caseload includes routine vision & primary care, some specialty contact lenses, myopia management, dry eye & glaucoma management. Typical daily schedule includes 8-10 routine exams & 3-4 specialty visits per day.

Office utilizes technicians for patient pretesting & specialty testing, including OCT & Optos UWF imaging.   We use Eyefinity Encompass EHR/ EPM software with integrated E-Prescribing.  Exam rooms are equipped with Marco Auto phoropters & backup manual phoropters. IPL/RF treatments are available for our dry eye patients.

Our patient base is diverse; the majority of patients use VSP/ Eyemed & major medical insurance with limited Medi-Cal.  

Excellent patient communication and clinical skills. Clinical Spanish is a plus; will consider recent grads.   

Compensation:  PT per diem $520-$590 DOE.   Full time position benefits include PTO, CE allowance, health insurance & retirement plan with employer match.
