Position Description:

The University of Louisville Department of Medicine Division of General Internal Medicine has a wonderful opportunity for a part-time internist wishing to serve as an academic hospitalist at the Louisville VAMC. The duties will include providing clinical leadership, overnight supervision of professional staff, including residents and medical students, covering floor calls for patients on the non-teaching medicine service, and contributing to process improvements with respect to quality, safety, utilization management, and patient satisfaction.
