East Bay Retina Consultants (EBRC) is seeking a full-time, fellowship-trained vitreoretinal surgeon to join our physician-owned, non-private equity, private practice as an associate on a partnership track.
Founded in 1967 by the late Dr. George F. Hilton, EBRC has been dedicated to providing exceptional retinal care to patients throughout the East Bay of Northern California for nearly six decades. Our practice is comprised of six fellowship-trained vitreoretinal surgeons serving patients from offices in Oakland, Concord, San Ramon, Pleasanton, Hayward, Brentwood, and Fremont.
As our practice continues to grow, we are expanding our team to meet increasing patient demand. This position offers the opportunity to build a robust clinical and surgical practice, with significant growth potential beginning in the first year.
We are looking for a surgeon who shares our commitment to delivering outstanding, compassionate, and ethical patient care while fostering strong relationships with our referring physicians and the communities we serve. To support our physicians, EBRC provides access to multiple surgical facilities with experienced operating room nurses and assistants trained specifically in vitreoretinal surgery. Our clinics are supported by highly skilled technicians, dedicated scribes, and experienced administrative staff, allowing our physicians to focus on delivering the highest level of patient care.
EBRC has a longstanding commitment to clinical research and innovation. We are an active member of the DRCR Retina Network and participate in a broad range of clinical studies, including retinal imaging research and industry-sponsored pharmaceutical trials. Our dedicated, fully staffed clinical research team supports these efforts, and physicians have the opportunity to serve as principal investigators on studies that align with their clinical interests.
