Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) is seeking a talented Breast Surgeon to join our growing team at Virginia Mason Medical Center (VMMC) campus in Seattle, WA. As a state of the art teaching facility, The qualified candidate must demonstrate the desire and possess the ability to work with residents.
Position highlights:
- Collegial group of specialists and supportive leadership team
- Wide referral network of primary care and specialists
- Breast Surgery Call, with no General Surgery call requirements
- Mix of clinic, OR and hospital rounding
- A weekly multidisciplinary tumor board providing recommendations for all new and postoperative patients
- Weekly Multidisciplinary Breast Cancer Clinic for newly diagnosed patients
- Dedicated breast health team focused on nonsurgical patients in Breast Clinic
- Breast radiologists who perform mammography, ultrasound and MRI exams and core biopsies with each of the modalities
- Access to partial and whole breast radiation
- A reconstructive service with a full spectrum of patient choices
- Clinical research and trials available
- EMR is EPIC
Job Requirements:
- Medical Degree
- Board Certified
- Fellowship training with focus on Breast Surgery
- Unrestricted Washington State Medical License
- DEA with full prescriptive authority
