Kaiser Permanente - Southern California Permanente Medical Group (SCPMG) is seeking a Cardiac Surgeon to join the us in Anaheim, CA.
Position Highlights
- Help build Kaiser Permanente Southern California's newest CV-ICU program in Orange County.
- Dedicated cardiac surgery operating rooms, anesthesia, nursing, and ICU teams.
- 24/7 in-house cardiac surgery intensivist support.
- Significant program growth anticipated, with projected volume increasing to approximately up to 500 annual cases by Year 3.
- Opportunity to help shape program development, growth, and clinical excellence from the ground up.
- Collaborate with an established regional cardiac surgery network and the experienced Fontana CV-ICU program.
Qualifications
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited cardiothoracic surgery training program.
- Board Certified in Thoracic Surgery.
- Strong clinical background with the ability to independently perform adult cardiac surgery.
- Preferred: 5+ years of cardiac surgery experience.
- Demonstrated interest in program development and growth.

Salary range for full-time openings is $650,375.00 - $980,955.00. Potential premium earnings are up to $184,860.00. Salaries are inclusive of incentives depending on skills and competencies and geographic location. Potential premium earnings are based on location. Annual Salary is determined by longevity with the Group and full time equivalent (FTE) work schedule/effort.
