CLINIC NURSE PRACTITIONER
Natividad is currently seeking a full-time Clinic Nurse Practitioner in the Natividad Medical Group. Under general direction and utilizing standardized procedures and protocols, the Clinic Nurse Practitioner provides professional primary health care services to patients with complex chronic and acute health conditions in an outpatient or clinic setting. Responsibilities include conducting complete physical examinations; assessing, diagnosing and managing care of patients; ordering and evaluating diagnostic tests; formulating treatment plans; providing and managing follow-up care as permitted within scope of licensure; and performing other related clinical and administrative work as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience: Three to five years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner with demonstrated ability to provide the full scope of care for higher acuity patients in the area of specialty, with little supervision.
Education: Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner training program leading to licensure as a Nurse Practitioner by the California Board of Nursing.
License: Completion of an accredited nursing program with a valid California Registered Nurse License.
Pursuant to the Business and Professions Code, Section 2838, possession of valid certification as a Nurse Practitioner issued by the BRN of the State of California is required in one of the following specialized areas:
- Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner
- Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner
- Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
- Family Nurse Practitioner
- Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
- Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
- Emergency Nurse Practitioner
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
