General Non-Invasive Cardiology Opportunity in Southwest Georgia

You’ll step into an established Heart & Vascular service line with a large built-in referral base across a five-county region. This is a General Non-Invasive Cardiology role with a defined clinic and imaging workflow and strong subspecialty support. The position is designed to expand outpatient access, imaging capacity, weekend consult coverage, and regional outreach.

Practice Overview

• Hospital-employed general/non-invasive cardiology position based in Southwest, GA
  • 2.5 hours from the Florida coast!
• You’ll join 4 general/non-invasive cardiologists (2 primarily hospital-based)
• Full cardiovascular platform: interventional, EP, structural heart, cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, and imaging
• Support includes dedicated LPN and medical assistant in clinic, with APP support available in the hospital
• TEE participation is ideal

Schedule

• Clinic: 3 days/week, approximately 20 patients/day (about 10 AM and 10 PM)
• Imaging/reads: 2 dedicated days/week focused primarily on nuclear cardiology and echocardiography
• Regional outreach is part of the role, extending cardiology access beyond the main campus
• Call: approximately 1:4; weekend responsibilities are consult/rounding focused and include reading echocardiograms

Compensation & Benefits

• Base compensation begins at $600,000 - ongoing base guarantee

Candidate Requirements

• General Non-Invasive Cardiologist
• TEE capability strongly preferred
• Comfort with nuclear cardiology and echocardiography interpretation aligned with 2 dedicated read days/week
• Interest in supporting weekend consult coverage and participating in regional outreach
