CommonSpirit is seeking a board-certified Gynecologic Oncologist to join our growing comprehensive cancer program in a community-based setting north of Denver, Colorado. This physician will provide high-quality patient-centered care for women with gynecologic malignancies while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary oncology, surgery, and supportive care teams. The ideal candidate will combine clinical excellence with a commitment to compassionate care, program development, and community engagement.
Our comprehensive cancer program is an American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer Network accredited program that provides integrated, evidence-based care with access to advanced diagnostics, minimally invasive surgery, chemotherapy and state-of-the-art radiation techniques. Our programs are supported by genetic counseling, supportive and palliative care services and patient navigation. Our program is committed to delivering academic-level care in a community setting. The successful candidate will be a collaborative physician leader who values compassionate care, clinical excellence, and community engagement. This role is ideal for a gynecologic oncologist seeking the resources of a comprehensive cancer program combined with the meaningful patient relationships and lifestyle advantages of a community-based practice.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage patients with gynecologic malignancies including ovarian, uterine, cervical, vulvar, and vaginal cancers
- Perform complex gynecologic surgeries, including minimally invasive and robotic procedures
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and collaborate with medical and radiation oncology, pathology, radiology. genetics and supportive care teams
- Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based protocols
- Provide inpatient and outpatient consultation and follow-up care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and cancer program accreditation activities. and program development
- Support community outreach, education, and cancer prevention initiatives
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Fellowship training in Gynecologic Oncology
- Board certified in Gynecologic Oncology
- Eligibility for medical licensure in Colorado
- Preferably 3-5 years of experience
- Experience with robotic and minimally invasive surgical techniques
