RWJBarnabas Health is Seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist in Long Branch and Old Bridge, NJ!
RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, is excited to expand its oncology services and is seeking a full-time Hematologist/Oncologist to join our established practice. This role is based at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ, and the state-of-the-art Old Bridge Ambulatory Care Center (opening June 2025). The new Old Bridge Ambulatory Care Center will serve as a hub for outpatient services, offering imaging, labs, urgent care, and specialty practices in a patient-friendly "one-stop shop" environment.
About the Position:
This is a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive cancer care within a robust, multidisciplinary team. Our network is proudly partnered with the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey (RCINJ), the state’s only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. Candidates will enjoy access to advanced therapies, clinical trials, and resources that enable cutting-edge, patient-centered oncology care.
The successful candidate will:
- Provide clinical care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Supervise and manage services rendered in Infusion Centers.
- Participate in night and weekend call schedules.
- Engage in clinical research and contribute to ongoing academic efforts.
- Collaborate with case management and quality improvement teams to support comprehensive patient care.
- Play a key role in tumor boards, outreach programs, and educational initiatives.
Candidate Requirements:
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology.
- Interest in benign blood disorders preferred.
- NJ licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey.
Compensation and Benefits:

- Fellowship stipend program (up to $24,000) for current trainees joining RWJBH during their final year of fellowship.
