We are seeking an experienced Hospitalist to serve as Medical Director within a well-established inpatient rehabilitation facility. The RoleAs Medical Director, you will provide hands-on inpatient care while shaping the clinical direction of the rehabilitation program.
Key Responsibilities- Provide daily inpatient medical management for rehabilitation patients
- Oversee care for medically complex patients in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Establish and uphold clinical standards and best practices
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance
- Partner closely with therapy, nursing, and case management teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Serve as a physician leader and mentor within the facility
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in inpatient rehab, LTAC, SNF, or acute care
- Demonstrated leadership ability and strong communication skills
- Commitment to quality, patient-centered care
- No nights. No weekends. No call.
