Full-time | Rotating On-call | M-Th 8a-6:30p | $27-38/hr

Who we are
Veterinary Specialty Center of Seattle is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT) to join our Internal Medicine team at our 24-hour emergency and specialty referral hospital.

Role Responsibilities
- Support Internal Medicine veterinarians in delivering high-quality specialty care
- Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including advanced internal medicine cases
- Provide anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance in accordance with Washington State Veterinary Practice Act
- Collect patient histories and obtain accurate medical information from clients
- Perform technical skills such as phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, patient monitoring, and restraint
- Maintain accurate, detailed medical records using hospital practice systems
- Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
- Assist with maintaining clean, organized, and sterile treatment areas and exam rooms
- Contribute to positive patient flow and efficient hospital operations
- Mentor and support fellow technicians and assistants as needed
Experience & Skill Requirements:
Required
- Active veterinary technician licensure (LVT, CVT, or RVT)
- Minimum 1 year of veterinary clinical experience
- Working knowledge of anesthesia and surgical procedures
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Preferred
- 1-2 years of Internal Medicine or specialty hospital experience
- Experience in a 24-hour emergency and referral setting
- Comfort working with advanced diagnostics and complex medical cases
- Interest in mentorship, training, or professional development

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an hourly pay rate starting at $27-38/ hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
