Description

Adult Nurse Practitioner locums coverage needed for an inpatient ICU in Pennsylvania with nights only and no call. Low census setting, 10 bed ICU with typical nightly volume of 4 to 6 patients.

Practice Setting

• Inpatient ICU coverage, adult patients.
• Solo overnight NP coverage with physician support available by phone.
• Typical nightly census 4 to 6 patients in a 10 bed unit.

Schedule

• Nights only, 7p to 7a.
• 7 to 14 shifts per month.
• Ongoing blocks of coverage from late 2026 into mid 2027.
• No call requirement.

Cases and Procedures

• Airway and access, intubation, arterial puncture, arterial line placement, central line placement.
• Thoracic procedures, thoracentesis, chest tube placement.
• Abdominal procedures, paracentesis.
• Neuro procedure, lumbar puncture.

Requirements

• Must be a Nurse Practitioner.
• Board certified Adult Nurse Practitioner.
• Active Pennsylvania license required, facility will not wait for license.
• ACLS, ATLS, and BLS required.
