Provide true emergency department coverage in a Level III trauma setting with flexible opportunities to stack night and weekend shifts around your existing schedule.

Practice & Cases

• Provide emergency department coverage in a 17-bed department
• Treat approximately 20-25 patients per shift
• Perform emergency procedures including intubations and central line placement
• Work alongside dedicated nursing staff and advanced practice providers with access to multiple consulting specialties

Schedule

• Coverage for 8-10 shifts per month
• Primary need is nights, weekends, and select holidays
• Common shifts include 4:00 p.m.-3:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.
• Day shifts may be available based on staffing needs

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine with Emergency Medicine residency training
• Active Oklahoma medical license or active Interstate Medical License eligibility
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required

Logistics

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage are provided
• Travel expenses are coordinated for the assignment
