Description

Provide hematology and oncology care in a community-based practice with flexible scheduling options. Full-time coverage is preferred, with 2-3 weeks per month also considered.

Practice & Cases

• Evaluate and manage adult hematology and oncology patients in clinic and hospital settings
• Perform bone marrow biopsies, with experience preferred
• Consult on ambulatory and inpatient cases
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, medical assistants, and office staff

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Full-time coverage preferred with 2-3 weeks per month considered
• Shared weeknight pager call and weekend call
• One-hour lunch built into the daily schedule

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology
• Wisconsin medical license preferred, but candidates willing to obtain licensure will be considered
• ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications required

Logistics

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage are provided
• Travel accommodations are arranged for scheduled coverage
