Practice & Cases

• Inpatient adult urology with full hospital staff
• Typically 2-3 consults and 2-8 rounding patients per day
• Coverage includes ED and inpatient consults, urinary retention, urgent stone management, and acute urologic needs
• Procedures may include cystoscopy, ureteral stenting, and laser lithotripsy for obstructed stones

Schedule

• Approximately 3-7 days of coverage per month
• 24-hour call while onsite
• Sporadic multi-day blocks based on coverage needs

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Urology
• Active North Carolina medical license required
• BLS and DEA required
