Locums Vascular Surgery or Interventional Radiology coverage in Arizona for procedure-only outpatient vein work at an ambulatory surgery center, with no call. Start with 1 to 2 procedure days per month, with potential to increase.

Practice Setting

• Outpatient, procedure-only coverage at ambulatory surgery centers.
• Adult patients only.
• Minimum target volume is 8 completed procedures per full day, with 10 to 12 preferred.

Schedule

• Initially 1 to 2 procedure days per month, with potential to increase.
• Scheduled hours are 8a to 5p.
• No call.

Cases and Procedures

• Radiofrequency vein ablation.
• Varithena.
• Ultrasound-guided access, tumescent anesthesia, venous reflux ultrasound interpretation, and related superficial vein treatments.

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO.
• Arizona license required
• Board certified or board eligible within 5 years in Vascular Surgery, or Interventional Radiology.
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA.
