Description
Erlanger Health and The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, Chattanooga, is seeking a physician committed to an academic career in obstetrics and gynecology.
Education, Training & Experience
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Ability to obtain an active medical license in the state of TN
- Academic participation in resident education and training
Clinical and Academic Duties
- Provide broad spectrum of obstetrical and gynecologic care to medically complex patients
- Participate in all clinical activities of the Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Deliver excellent care to patients while growing and expanding access for routine obstetrical and gynecological patients in the clinical practice
- Supervise advanced practice providers assigned to the clinical practice
- Provide teaching instruction and supervision to residents and medical students in Gynecology and Obstetrics
- Provide lectures to fellows, residents and medical students as requested
- Attend Grand Rounds, M&M Conferences, Journal Club, Division meetings and other Departmental Activities
- Participate in mentorship of medical students and residents
