Part-Time to Full-Time Optometrist – Independent LensCrafters Practice
Santa Ana, CA

We are an independent optometry practice located inside a LensCrafters in Santa Ana, and we are currently looking for a motivated Optometrist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an OD who is looking for a part-time position with the potential to transition into full-time in a short period of time. Unlike mall-based locations, our store is a stand-alone location with convenient access and ample parking, making it easy for both our patients and our staff.

We have created a highly efficient exam environment that allows the doctor to focus primarily on providing quality patient care rather than performing routine preliminary testing.
We use Revolution EHR and a Marco automated phoropter.
Our exams are scheduled in 20-minute appointments, with a trained technician performing the majority of preliminary testing before the patient enters the exam room.

The technician handles:
Visual acuities, Color vision, Stereo vision, Autorefraction, Non-contact tonometry, Blood pressure, Lensometry, FDT visual field testing, Optos retinal imaging, and Patient history and intakeFollowing the examination, the doctor transitions the patient to one of our sales associates for assistance with eyeglasses, lenses, and contact lenses, allowing the OD to remain focused on patient care and the clinical side of the practice.

Our office hours are: 
Sunday   10am - 4pm
Monday-Friday  10am - 7pm
Saturday  10am - 6pm

This is a per diem plus bonus opportunity.
