Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or Physician Assistant) — Interventional Pain Management
Position Overview
Orlando Pain Centers of Excellence, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PAC) to join
our growing Interventional Pain Management team.
This role is ideal for a provider who thrives in a fast-paced, procedure-driven
environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality, evidence-based care
to patients suffering from acute and Chronic pain conditions. You will work closely
with board-certified pain management physicians to provide comprehensive,
patient-centered treatment.

pain care. Our mission is to restore function, improve quality of life, and reduce
reliance on opioid medications through innovative and multidisciplinary treatment
approaches.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
-Comprehensive Patient Care
-Conduct detailed patient evaluations, including:
-History and physical examinations
-Pain assessments and functional status evaluations
-Diagnose and manage a wide range of pain conditions, including:
-Cervical and lumbar spine disorders
-Radiculopathy and neuropathic pain
-Joint pain and degenerative conditions
-Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
-Order and interpret diagnostic studies (MRI, CT, X-ray, EMG/NCS, labs)
-Interventional & Procedural Support
Assist physicians with advanced procedures such as:
-Epidural steroid injections
-Medial branch blocks and radiofrequency ablation
-Facet joint injections
-Sacroiliac joint injections
-Perform in-office procedures (based on training and scope):
-Trigger point injections
-Large joint injections (knee, shoulder, hip)
-Ultrasound-guided injections (preferred) or willing to learn
-Medication & Opioid Management
Manage pharmacologic therapies, including:
-Non-opioid and multimodal pain regimens
-Neuropathic agents and muscle relaxants
-Opioid therapy in accordance With best practices
-Ensure compliance with:
-Centers for Disease Control and Prevention opioid prescribing guidelines
-Florida PDMP (E-FORCSE) requirements
-Conduct and document:
-Urine drug screenings
-Pain management agreements
-Risk stratification assessments
-Documentation & Regulatory Compliance
-Document all encounters accurately and efficiently in the EHR (e.g.,
-Modernizing Medicine)
-Maintain compliance with:
-Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services documentation and billing requirements
-Support accurate coding for:
-Evaluation & Management (E/M) Services
-Interventional procedures
-Complete documentation within 24 hours
-Care Coordination & Team Collaboration
Collaborate with:
-Physicians, medical assistants, and administrative staff
-Referring providers and specialists (Orthopedics, neurology, primary care)
-Facilitate referrals, imaging, and prior authorizations
-Participate In team-based care and Workflow optimization
-Patient Education & Outcomes
-Educate patients On:
-Diagnosis and treatment options
-Procedure expectations and recovery
-Medication safety and compliance
-Promote functional improvement and long-term pain control strategies
Qualifications Required:
-Graduate of an accredited:
-APRN (FNP, AGNP) or
-Physician Assistant (PA-C) program
-Active Florida license
-DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
-Minimum 1-2 years ofclinical experience (pain management, orthopedics,
-PM&R, or related field preferred)
Preferred:
-Experience in Interventional Pain Management
-Familiarity with Modernizing Medicine
Experience with:
-Spine pathology and musculoskeletal care
-Ultrasound-guided injections or willing to learn
-Opioid compliance Workflows and risk mitigation

-Ability to manage a high-volume clinic efficiently
-Knowledge of payer authorization and documentation requirements

Outpatient Interventional Pain Management Clinic
Blend of:
-Clinic visits

-Schedule: Monday—Friday,No weekends

Performance Expectations (KPIs):
-Patient volume: —25-40 patients/day (based on complexity)
-Timely documentation completion (<24 hours)
-Adherence to Opioid compliance protocols
