Requirements
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical histories, physical examinations, and preventive health assessments.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions across a diverse patient population.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Prescribe medications and order, interpret, and review laboratory and diagnostic testing in accordance with New York State regulations.
- Educate patients on disease prevention, wellness, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Perform office-based procedures within scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient management.
- Foster strong, trusting relationships with patients while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and office staff to provide exceptional healthcare in a team-based environment.
Qualifications
Current New York State Physician Assistant license
NCCPA certification
Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience with EMR systems preferred
Primary care or outpatient experience preferred but not required
New graduates are encouraged to apply—mentorship and training are provided.
