Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate podiatrist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity if you have recently completed your residency or are early in your career as a podiatrist, and desire strong mentorship, a diverse case mix, and are looking for a long-term professional home. The ideal candidate will have a passion for improving patients’ quality of life through expert diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle conditions.
You will step into a busy, well-organized practice with immediate patient volume and full clinical support. We treat the full spectrum of podiatric medicine and surgery, including:
• Diabetic foot care and wound management
• Sports medicine and biomechanics
• Forefoot and rearfoot surgery
• Routine care and general podiatry
• Nail and skin pathology
• Orthotics and bracing
Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive podiatric care, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventative care for foot and ankle disorders
• Perform surgical and non-surgical procedures as needed
• Educate patients on foot health and injury prevention
• Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate patient records and uphold high standards of care
• Stay up to date with advancements in podiatric medicine and implement best practices
Qualifications
• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree
• Completion of a CPME-approved residency
• Board certification or eligibility preferred
• Valid Connecticut state podiatry license (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong clinical skills and an interest in both conservative and surgical care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
