Surgical OR- Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant- Piedmont Athens

Overview:

APP Surgical OR

Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for an Advanced Practice Provider to join the surgical service line team working at our Piedmont Athens campus.

This is a FT position.

Responsibilities:

In this role you will:

• Perform first OR assist duties
• Rounding on patients in the hospital
• Assist in management of post-operative and critically ill patients in the hospital
• Evaluate post-operative patients in the office setting
• Applies specialized skills and knowledge related to the care of patients in the CVOR, ICU, CCU and CVICU areas
• Contributes to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, consulting and provides leadership to the organization

Qualifications:

Qualifications - External

Masters, Bachelors Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification

Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification
