We are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Trauma & Acute Care Surgeon with fellowship training in Trauma/Surgical Critical Care to join our established and growing trauma program.

Practice Highlights:

Bay Area Medical Center 

Level II ACS & State-Verified Trauma Center

• 152-bed acute care hospital (current expansion to 200 underway)
• Verified Level II Trauma Center (ACS and State)
• Approximately 65,000 annual Emergency Department visits
• Approximately 95% blunt injury
• Dedicated Trauma and Acute Care Surgery service
• State-of-the-art robotic surgical technology
• Collaborative multidisciplinary trauma team 

Doctors Regional Medical Center

Level IV State-Verified Trauma Center

• 250-bed acute care hospital
• Approximately 40,000 annual Emergency Department visits
• General surgery coverage only (no trauma responsibilities)
• 24-hour home call model
• Established surgical support infrastructure 

Candidate Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery
• Fellowship training in Trauma Surgery and/or Surgical Critical Care required
• Eligible for Texas medical licensure
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
• Strong interest in trauma, emergency general surgery, and acute care surgery
